Attack Fatal to Irving Grice, 68

Irving Estrel Grice, 68, of 410 West Miller St. died at 5:15 PM Thursday while being taken to the Wells County Hospital following a heart attack at his home. Death was attributed to a coronary occlusion.

He was born May 29, 1890, in Roanoke, Va., to Juan F. and Ravenia Martin Grice. His marriage May 31, 1942, in Fulton, was to Opal Hesher, who survives.

Mr. Grice was owner of the Grice Roofing Co., and a member of the Moose and Elks Lodge. He had resided in Wells County the last 45 years.

Surviving, in addition to the wife, are one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Rudolph of Canal Winchester, O.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Bouse of Bryant Route 2; two sons, William Eugene of Louisville, Ky., and James F., at home; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the McBride and Son Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Looker officiating. Burial will be in the Six Mile Cemetery.
