Obiturary of Bertha Mae (Woodward) Rittinger
Bertha Mae (Woodward) Rittinger, 89, of Circleville, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 1, 1927 in Kingston, Ohio. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister whose family meant everything to her. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Rittinger; parents, Dewey and Daisy (Beavers) Woodward; brother, William; and sisters, Mary McKnight and Betty Woodward. Bertha is survived by her children, Donna (Larry) Jackson of Florida, Robert (Sue) Rittinger of Gahanna, Patricia (Dave) Tait of Stoutsville, Danny Rittinger of Galloway, Garry Rittinger of Circleville, Steven Rittinger of Hillsboro, Deborah (Bruce) Conrad of Stoutsville and Dwight (Kim) Rittinger of Lancaster; sister, June Sampsill of Circleville; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
