Obituary of Ona Eckle

MRS. ONA ECKLE DIES AT HER HOME

Mrs. Ona Eckle, 74, died at 12:20 P.M. Wednesday at her home in Bloomingburg. She was the wife of Col. Maynard W. Eckle, an auctioneer.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Clarence of Washington C.H. and Lewis of Columbus, and by a daughter, Mrs. Opal Drake of Atlanta. One son preceded Mrs. Eckle in death.

She is also survived by a brother, W.A. Grimm of Washington C.H., and by five sisters, Mrs. Martha Slattery of London, Mrs. Lula Devaney of Columbus, Mrs. Marjorie Bevan of Dayton, Mrs. Mary Wardell of Derby and Mrs. Corda Chenoweth of Mt. Sterling.

Mrs. Eckle was a native of Fayette County and had lived in the county all her life. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Madison Mills.

Funeral services will be held at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home here Friday at 2 P.M. with Rev. Lester Taylor in charge. Burial will be in the family lot in Bloomingburg Cemetery.
