Entire Book Of Scribblings
Many of you already know of the coffee table size book that Ashley Henry put together containng many of the things i have written for the fun of ot lately. She made it up as a 90th birthday present, for which I am grateful.
The book begis with a "New Boy On The Farm story and goes on through other titles likie The Day I Shot Wilma, Mighty Typewriter,Socialist? Darn Right, Small Town (Allendale, SC),Coffee and Germans In Bolivia,Women In World War II, Girl In The Window, Vegas Marriages, How To Catch A Bee,and 90 Years Down Photos are included. If any of you who have not received these stories and want one or more, I think I have printed copies in case anyone wants one or more.
The book thing is not news but there is a little of that, inclding some bad news involving sister Janice. She is now in a hospice category because of an enlarged heart pressing on her esophagous. She is very week, which you will find out if you call, and has daughtr Penny and/or a hospice person with her all the time. A call might perk her up.
I hope all within my mail list are doing well. I am in good shape except for a past smoker's lungs which has cut shot my golfing career and any thot of long distance running, or walking.
Have a good life and, if you know of them, keep rootng for the Buckeye basketball team. They are really good, just like Gabby used say I was, but at a much lower level.
