Obituary of Marilyn Jean Grimm

MARILYN J. GRIMM

69, of Beavercreek, Ohio, died Friday, July 23, 1993 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 18, 1924, the daughter of Oscar R. and Ethel (Tellis) Hitchew. She was a retired clerk from the Office of Manpower at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church; the Peacemaker group of the church; Beta Sigma Phi Sorority; Order of Eastern Star, Beavercreek chapter; and the City of Moraine Senior Center. Survivors include two sons, Dale and Carol Grimm of Springfield and Charles E. Grimm II of Beavercreek; a daughter, Debra Sakalaskas of Huber Heights; six grandchildren, Kevin, Rebecca and Andrew Grimm of Springfield, and Shawn, Candace and Mark Sakalaskas of Huber Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. in December of 1976. Friends may call Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. in the Woods-Allgier Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Richard F. Poock officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Eastern Star and sorority services will be held at 7 and 7:30 p.m. respectively.
