Obituary of Sharon K Butcher Herman

Sharon K. Herman, 56, of London, died at 3:17 a.m. Sunday, July 9, 2006, at her residence following a valiant battle with cancer.

Born June 20, 1949, in London, she was a daughter of Gaylord and Ruth (Dillon) Butcher.

For 38 years she was employed by teh Community Action Organization of Madison, Union and Delaware Countyies from where she retired in April 0f 2006 as Director of Programs.

Survivors are her husband, Cecil Herman, son and daugher-in-law, Tom and Tonya Herman of London; sisters, Nancy Hackworth and Linda Sollars, both of London, Joyce Snider of Mechanicsburg; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Becky Cress, Evelyn Housum, Linda HOlloway.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Gloria Danies; brother-in-law, Edgel Daniels; sister-in-law, Rosemary Porter; friend, Joy Henry.

Graveside memorial service will be conducted by the Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home, 103 N. Main St., London, at Paint Township Cemetery at a date of convenience for the family. The Rev. Charles Wertz will officiate at the service.

Friends may make memorial contributions in Sharon's memory to the Loving Care Hospice.
